Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Scryptex Node and related services operated by Scryptex Labs (“Scryptex Labs”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, pairing a device, installing the Android node software, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Scryptex Node lets eligible users optionally share spare internet capacity from one compatible Android device under their control (prefer Wi‑Fi; Start / Stop in the Android app). The Service typically includes:

Features may change as we improve reliability, safety, and compliance. We may add, modify, or remove functionality with notice in the Mini App or on this website where appropriate.

2. Eligibility

You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and at least 16, or higher where local law requires), legally able to enter a binding agreement, and only use devices and networks you are authorized to use. You are responsible for complying with your ISP terms, household/building rules, and applicable law.

3. No guaranteed earnings

Participation does not guarantee income. Rewards — if any — depend on factors outside our exclusive control, including whether demand selects your connection, your geolocation, connection quality, device reliability, and anti-fraud checks.

Time spent in “Online” or “Waiting for demand” status does not by itself create a right to payment. Eligible rewards are tied to verified Used Traffic only. Quiet periods are normal.

Plain statement: Scryptex Node is an optional way to offer spare capacity. It is not a salary, not employment, and not a promise of passive income of any specific amount.

4. Scryptex Labs as intermediary

Scryptex Labs provides software and operational services that connect consented user capacity with network demand and settle eligible rewards to your account. We do not guarantee continuous selection of your node. Marketing phrases such as “passive income” describe a possible outcome when demand exists — not a warranty.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend accounts pending review.

Capacity sharing requires your explicit, affirmative opt-in, separate from accepting these general Terms. The Feature is disabled by default and must not begin routing until you consent and enable sharing (e.g. Start in the Android app).

Before enabling, you will be shown clear disclosures that, at minimum, cover that:

You may withdraw consent and disable the Feature at any time through in-app controls (Stop / disable / unpair). Withdrawal is intended to be as simple as enabling. We maintain records of consent and withdrawal events for at least twenty-four (24) months, or longer if required by law.

Linking a new device disconnects any previous active session on the account. Custom consent wording may be updated to meet partner implementation requirements.

8. Balances, verification, and payouts

Balances reflect used capacity after verification and policy checks. Displayed provisional counters may differ from final settled amounts. We may delay, adjust, withhold, or reverse amounts associated with errors, fraud, chargebacks, duplicate claims, or Terms violations.

Payout methods, currencies, minimums, fees (if any), and eligibility by region are shown in the Mini App when enabled. Security waiting periods (for example multi-day anti-fraud buffers) may apply before completion. Third-party payout providers have their own terms; failed deliveries caused by incorrect recipient details may not be recoverable.

Referral or tier benefits — if offered — modify reward shares only for eligible verified usage and may be changed prospectively with notice.

9. Free participation

Joining and running a basic node is free of charge. You contribute optional capacity under these Terms. We do not charge a subscription merely to create an account, unless a future optional paid feature is clearly presented for purchase.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, branding (including Scryptex Node and “Share on your terms.”), software, and website content are owned by Scryptex Labs or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, lawful participation in accordance with these Terms. No other license is granted.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, ERROR-FREE SOFTWARE, CONTINUOUS NODE SELECTION, SPECIFIC TRANSFER VOLUMES, OR ANY PARTICULAR FINANCIAL OUTCOME.

You are solely responsible for ISP fees, electricity, device wear, and household network impact. Scryptex Node is not financial, tax, or legal advice.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCRYPTEX LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST EXPECTED EARNINGS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL REWARDS ACTUALLY PAID TO YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Scryptex Labs and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights or laws (including ISP or network terms).

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for suspected abuse, legal risk, non-payment issues on payout rails, or operational necessity. Upon termination, licenses end; provisions that should survive (including liability limits, indemnity, and accrued payment disputes) will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Scryptex Labs’ principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, except where consumers may bring claims in their home courts as required by law. We encourage contacting support first to resolve issues informally.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms: use the support channel in the Scryptex Node Telegram Mini App or the contact method published on scryptexlabs.com when available.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and Scryptex Labs regarding the Service, replacing prior conflicting terms for the same subject, except where a separate signed agreement expressly prevails.
